Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! It’s Sunday in December which means a few things. Kids are starting to countdown the days until Christmas, It’s a Chicago Bears Gameday and oh by the way it’s a matinee day for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Yes, a rare Sunday matinee for the Chicago Blackhawks which is awesome if you enjoy your sleep. After playing on the West coast for the 2nd half of November it will be nice to have a game wrapped up before Sunday night primetime begins.
It reminds me of my youth back in the 80’s when my parents were very devout about church attending which also meant Wednesday night, so a few times during the season the Blackhawks would have a Sunday matinee game and this was the games that my parents liked getting tickets to.
