Blackhawks start back-to-back with visit to Lightning

The Blackhawks look to snap a six-game regular-season losing streak to the Lightning on Friday night at Amalie Arena.

Tampa Bay took the first outing this season Oct. 21 in Chicago with a 6-3 win. The Lightning (15-6-1) shocked the Blackhawks (8-9-5) with four straight goals, including three during their NHL record 33-shot second period.

Friday’s game is the first of a back-to-back for the Blackhawks, who visit the Panthers on Saturday.

The Blackhawks enter Friday’s game after a 4-2 loss Wednesday at Washington. They gave up a goal only 54 seconds in and fell behind 3-0 in the second period, but pulled within one goal before Capitals forward Devante Smith-Pelly scored to end the comeback.
