The former Bruins forward will be joining the Hawks for training camp looking to surprise and earn a roster spot.
Free agent forward Daniel Paille and the Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to a professional tryout contract, reports TSN's Darren Dreger. He's the second veteran player to agree to a PTO this week after 37-year-old defenseman Jan Hejda, who will also be attending training camp hoping to earn a spot on the roster.
Paille, 31, spent the past five-plus years as a member of the Boston Bruins after beginning his career with the Buffalo Sabres.
