Blackhawks rally in 3rd period, but fall 3-2 in overtime to Wild

Adam Boqvist and Olli Maatta scored two third-period goals for the Blackhawks, but Matt Dumba ended his 34-game goal drought 2:21 into overtime to lift the Wild to a 3-2 win Tuesday at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Ryan Suter stole the puck from Erik Gustafsson in Chicago’s zone then passed it to Mats Zuccarello, who fired a shot wide then chased down the puck following a wide shot by Suter. Zuccarello beat Patrick Kane to the puck at the blue line, skate up to the slot and dropped a pass to the left face-off circle for Dumba, whose shot in close went off Corey Crawford’s left pad and the crossbar then into the net.
