Blackhawks defenseman prospect Ryan Shea had two assists to help Northeastern win its third straight Beanpot championship with a 5-4 victory in double overtime against Boston University on Monday at TD Garden in Boston.
Fellow Blackhawks prospect Jake Wise, a forward, had a goal and an assist for BU.
Wise sent a pass across the crease to Ducks prospect Trevor Zegras, who scored with 1.2 seconds remaining in the third period to send the game to overtime.
In double overtime, Shea drew a tripping penalty by Patrick Harper (Predators) then Jordan Harris (Canadiens) scored on the ensuing power play for Northeastern to win its seventh Beanpot title.
