Blackhawks prospect Andrei Altybarmakyan’s KHL rights traded to SKA St. Petersburg

After two seasons with HK Sochi, Blackhawks forward prospect Andrei Altybarmakyan has been reacquired by SKA St. Petersburg.

Altybarmakyan was traded from Sochi in exchange for six SKA players, including defensemen Daniil Miromanov and Georgy Solyannikov, and forwards Pavel Kukshtel, Kirill Petkov, Daniil Ogirchuk and Igor Rudenkov, an extra man penalty’s worth of players.

Altybarmakyan scored 17 points, including six goals, in 49 KHL games this past season, tied for eighth on the team. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound right wing was third on the team with 39 penalty minutes and played 13:46 per game. He also played in three VHL games, being held scoreless, and had an assist in one International game for Russia.
