Blackhawks Postgame Musings: Top six gives encouraging performance heading into regular season

The Chicago Blackhawks wrapped up the road portion of their preseason schedule with the second win in as many nights, beating the Minnesota Wild 4-1. Frank Nazar was the star of the night by scoring three of the Blackhawks' four goals. Ryan Donato gave the visitors a huge insurance goal midway through the third period.

“There’s always going to be ups and downs,” head coach Jeff Blashill said. "There’s going to be learning opportunities in games like this, and that’s what the preseason is for anyway. When you have a young D corps, that will be the story throughout the course of the season.
