Even though the ‘Hawks are only eleven games into the season, Kane is set to pass yet another milestone. Last night Kane tied Doug Weight for seventh all-time on the American-born hockey players scoring list. Kane and Weight are tied with 1033 points.
The Chicago Blackhawks secured one of the best American born hockey players when they drafted Kane with the first overall pick of the 2007 NHL draft, and the jury is still out on how high Kane will rank on a few lists.
