Blackhawks make several moves as NHL roster takes shape

With the first game of the season two days away, the Blackhawks’ NHL roster picture became more clear with a slew of roster moves.

It started with 10 players who were assigned to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.

Eight forwards and two defensemen were among the roster moves.

Forwards: Andrei Altybarmakian, Evan Barratt, Matej Chalupa, MacKenzie Entwistle, Reese Johnson, Cam Morrison, Tim Soderlund, Michal Teply

Defensemen: Chad Krys, Alec Regula

Goaltender Cale Morris was released from his professional tryout and will also report to the IceHogs.

Along with those moves, the Blackhawks also released defenseman Michael Krutil from camp.
