The Blackhawks' road to repeat as Stanley Cup champions will officially begin Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues, and they have pretty good odds to do it.
According to Bovada, only the Washington Capitals (4/1) and Los Angeles Kings (7/1) have better odds to win the Stanley Cup entering the postseason than the Blackhawks, who have won it three of the past six seasons.
No team has won back-to-back championships in the salary cap era. The last team to win a title in consecutive seasons are the Detroit Red Wings, who accomplished that feat in 1997 and 1998.
