Blackhawks forward Drake Caggiula spent part of NHL’s pause like many Chicago sports fans: watching “The Last Dance.”
The documentary miniseries revolves around Michael Jordan’s career, with particular focus on his last season with the Chicago Bulls.
Caggiula liked the series so much he decided to buy a T-shirt on Amazon with a photo of Jordan smoking a cigar following a NBA championship victory. He wore the T-shirt along with a black Chicago Cubs hat during a press conference Thursday in Edmonton.
“I saw the scene where he was celebrating in the hallway just like this, and I was like, ‘That would be a cool shirt to have,’” said Caggiula, who was 3 years old during Jordan’s final season with the Bulls in 1998.
