Blackhawks forward Drake Caggiula has been suspended for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Qualifiers after delivering an illegal check to the head on Edmonton Oilers forward Tyler Ennis in Game 1, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced Sunday.
The incident occurred at the 7:42 mark of the second period after Caggiula's right shoulder made contact with Ennis' head. Caggiula was not assessed a penalty on the play and Ennis stayed in the game.
Drake Caggiula will have a hearing tomorrow for this illegal check to the head on Tyler Ennis in Game 1.
