In an effort to aid those affected by the recent tornadoes in Fairdale and Rochelle, Ill., Chicago Blackhawks Charities will donate their portion of the Split the Pot proceeds raised during Game 3 of the Western Conference First Round vs. Nashville on Sunday, April 19, to the Illinois Tornado Relief Effort, a campaign of the McCormick Foundation. Additionally, fans attending Sunday's game can make donations at Gates 2, 3, 6 and 7 or at any concession or retail stand throughout the United Center. Chicago Blackhawks Charities will match all fan donations.
The Illinois Tornado Relief Effort supports nonprofit agencies providing disaster relief and recovery efforts to those communities hit hardest by the tornadoes.
