Blackhawks, Bruins cap weekend series, this time in Chicago

The Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins will switch venues and swap sweaters, playing their second game in as many days when the two teams meet up at the United Center on Sunday morning.

It’s basically a Mortal Kombat Mirror Match of Saturday’s game, which Boston won 7-4 thanks to a flurry of third-period goals. That game was a microcosm of each team’s recent fortunes. The Hawks were in the lead, but a bad rebound and dreadful penalty kill opened the door for a Bruins team that keeps finding ways to win, and Boston ran away with the game on the scoreboard.
