Blackhawks forward Artem Anisimov scored a goal in regulation during Russia’s 3-2 shootout victory over the Czech Republic and prospect Dominik Kubalik to win the bronze-medal game Sunday in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Anisimov’s tallied the game-tying goal just 39 seconds into the second period when his shot deflected off Philadelphia’s Radko Gudas and through Czech goaltender Simon Hrubec’s five-hole.

Los Angeles’ Ilya Kovalchuk scored twice in a shootout for Russia, who won their third bronze in the last four World tournaments.

The 31-year-old Anisimov racked up four goals and six points in 10 tournament games.
