Marcus Kruger is staying in Chicago for three more years.
The Blackhawks announced Tuesday evening that they have agreed to a three-year contract extension with forward Marcus Kruger. The extension will run through the end of the 2018-19 season. The deal is worth $9.25 million over those three years.
Kruger, 25, has played in 33 games this season tallying one assist.
Kruger hasn't played in a regular season game since Dec. 17 after dislocating his left wrist. The forward underwent surgery the next day and was placed on Injured Reserve on Dec. 28.
Kruger is a two-time Stanley Cup champion.
