The Blackhawks placed goaltender Jeff Glass on waivers Wednesday, and are expected to make a corresponding move Thursday morning. But what could that be?
There are really only two options.
The first is that Corey Crawford has been cleared to play and will return against the Anaheim Ducks. Joel Quenneville told reporters in Vegas that Crawford responded "OK" to Monday's practice with the team and that he was on the ice again Tuesday, but his timetable hadn't changed.
The second, and perhaps more likely, is that the Blackhawks will be calling up Jean-Francois Berube from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
