It was an up and down week when it comes to the outlook on Chicago Blackhawks defensive prospect Adam Boqvist.
Let’s start with the good news.
The 18-year-old was named the Ontario Hockey League’s Defenseman of the Month for February, leading all players at his position with 19 points (six goals, 13 assists) in 13 games for the London Knights.
Boqvist registered six different multi-point performances and was a big contributor on the power play for the Midwest Division-leading Knights. He put up a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over visiting Kitchener on Feb.
