The pressure on quarterback Caleb Williams has been enormous after going first overall in his draft class last year and being heralded as one of highest-graded prospects at his position in recent history.
The weight was even heavier when he landed with the Bears. They’ve never had a 4,000-yard passer, their first-round picks have flopped for decades and, most importantly at the moment, they’ve lacked the firepower to stop the Packers’ long-running dominance at the position.
From Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers and now Jordan Love, the Packers have thrived on great quarterback play since 1992.
