After Ben Johnson handed out game balls Saturday night, he got one himself.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams grew emotional as he gave his coach a game ball following the Bears’ unbelievable 31-27 comeback win against the Packers at Soldier Field.
“For me personally, he’s been monumental in my life so far,” Williams said, before pausing to collect himself. “And so for his first playoff win as Chicago Bears head coach ….”
Williams flipped Johnson the ball and gave him a hug.
Before he got one of his own, Johnson handed out three game balls:
• To tight end Colston Loveland, who caught a team-best eight balls for 137 yards and one touchdown.
