Before he handed out four game balls after Sunday’s 22-16 overtime win against the Packers, Bears coach Ben Johnson told his players to appreciate what they’ve done this season.
“This is a special group,” he said. “This doesn’t happen everywhere, gentlemen.”
The Bears’ most unlikely finish of the year started with a field goal, followed by a recovered onside kick, a touchdown to tie the game in regulation and another to win the game in overtime.

Afterward, Johnson gave out game balls to the four players who contributed to that final series:
• Kicker Cairo Santos, who booted the onside kick.
