Before they had both arrived at Minnesota Duluth, word was traveling that brothers Mikey and Joey Anderson were the pretty intense sort.
Coaches, staff, and players all knew about their propensity to get into the occasional fight.
“Gotta watch both those guys,” UMD senior captain Karson Kuhlman said in September, before the official start of the college hockey season. “They've talked to us about their scraps growing up, even in the summer. I think it's more of a time and a place. It's just a matter of time, basically.”
