The Bears spoke with South Dakota State quarterback Chris Streveler

The South Dakota State pro day took place on Friday with the main attraction being tight end Dallas Goedert. The 6’5”, 255 pound pass catcher has a shot at being a first or second day selection, but it was his quarterback that surprised scouts the most.

Chris Streveler, who passed for 4,134 yards and rushed for 720 last year for the Jackrabbits, ripped off an impressive 4.40 forty yard dash. He also had 38.5’ vertical jump, and a 10’5” broad jump. Matt Zimmer of the Argus Leader said that Streveler “threw nothing but bullets in his passing exhibition.
