BOURBONNAIS — Veteran scribes called it the coldest day ever at a Bears training camp practice. It was cloudy, windy and 61 degrees at Olivet Nazarene University, so fans should be content with the fact that it was a closed practice.
Here are a few observations from Friday's practice that don’t include weather updates:
Glennon has up-and-down afternoon
Mike Glennon’s deep balls have not been his strong suit during camp, and we saw a few overthrows from him in team and 7-on-7 drills Friday. Defensive lineman Eddie Goldman should get some credit for pushing the pocket on one such throw toward Cameron Meredit.
