The Chicago Bears have finally gotten a new edge rusher that will help them get some pressure on the quarterback, but it won't be one that will get fans excited.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported the Bears made a trade with the Cleveland Browns. The Bears acquire defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka in exchange for a sixth-round pick. This move was in direct response to the loss of Dayo Odeyingbo, who tore his Achilles tendon in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tryon-Shoyinka was a former first-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2021.
