Report: Bears set to begin Training Camp on July 21

There has been some buzz about NFL teams opening training camps earlier this offseason due to OTAs and mini-camps being cancelled from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but so far there hasn’t been anything official from the league.

The Chicago Bears haven’t made an official announcement on when they’ll open training camp either, but rookie tight end Cole Kmet indicated when they’ll get things started.

“As of right now our report date is the twenty-first I believe, so kind of late July. A tentative schedule depending on what’s going on,” Kmet told Chris Zorich on his recent podcast.
