Something I did on my flight back home (I have done it a couple of times before) that I read online a while back that you may want to do the next time you fly.
After we got through security but before we boarded I went over to the "convenience store" shop in the terminal. I bought some Jolly Ranchers hard candy, a couple packs of Lifesavers, a bag of chocolate covered pretzels, and some mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - probably cost around $20. After we boarded I gave it to one of the flight attendants in the back of the plane.
