LAKE FOREST — By every measure, the Bears have an underperforming, faceless offense whose best play through two weeks is Jay Cutler chucking it skyward down the field to a leaping Alshon Jeffery.
“You know what?” receiver Eddie Royal said Thursday at Halas Hall. “It has been a great play for us. When you got a guy that can make plays for us down the field, I would do it a lot.”
Yeah, but it’s probably not sustainable in the long term, right?
“I don’t know what the percentages are right now, but they’re pretty high with him,” Royal said.
