A new football era has begun in Chicago with Ryan Poles as General Manager. Poles, coming from the Chiefs’ front office, has already overhauled over half the roster, and the changes aren’t stopping anytime soon. Former Colts Defensive Coordinator Matt Eberflus is coaching the team, and if this preseason has been any indication, the Bears are looking fresh.
However, quarterback Justin Fields remains the most important factor in Halas Hall, and Ryan Poles has taken tangible steps to protect Fields. He turned over a very bad offensive line from last year, and we’ll know soon if those changes were for the better.
