Thursday provided that with Williams showing in one play why he was the number one overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. ESPN Bears beat reporter Courtney Cronin detailed the pass that has fans feeling optimistic again.
"Quarterback Caleb Williams and receiver Olamide Zaccheaus connected for the longest play of camp. On third-and-4, Williams avoided pressure and launched a 40-plus yard pass to the veteran wideout.
