After going more than a week without their top playmaker, the Bears got a boost Monday with the return of wide receiver Allen Robinson.
That offense looks considerably better with him on the field.
Robinson sustained an ankle injury Aug. 22, and the Bears kept him away from the practice field entirely until he rejoined his teammates Monday. He was active during the period open to the media, and coach Matt Nagy said, “I liked where he’s at.”
Without Robinson, the Bears had Anthony Miller as their No. 1 receiver and used Javon Wims and Ted Ginn on the first team.
