Matt Nagy Approval Rating

Matt Nagy has helped guide the Chicago Bears to two playoff appearances during his three years on the job and a 36-28 regular season record. Among Chicago head coaches that have coached at least three seasons, his .563 winning percentage only trails Mike Ditka’s .631, co-coaches* Hunk Anderson and Luke Johnsos’ .676, George Halas’ .682, and Ralph Jones’ .706.

Nagy’s 36 wins is fifth most in franchise history behind Dave Wannstedt’s 40, Lovie Smith’s 81, Ditka’s 106, and Halas’ 318.

On paper it really seems like Nagy has been the goods during his time in the Windy City, but consecutive 8-8 seasons, quarterback/offensive issues, and some stubborn play calling at times landed him on the hot seat earlier this year.
