Kyle Monangai wins violent award Bears fans would agree with after Packers game

Kyle Monangai is having himself a rookie season.

The former seventh-round draft pick out of Rutgers has 731 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 155 carries and is averaging 4.7 yards per carry, which is tied for the 11th-highest mark in the NFL among running backs with at least 144 attempts.

During the Bears’ 22-16 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Soldier Field, Monangai set the tone for the offense in the third quarter. Caleb Williams found Monangai open in the right flat and completed the pass on second-and-9 to his running back.
