It wasn't an easy decision for the Chicago Bears when they had to decide between staying at number one overall and taking Caleb Williams or keeping Justin Fields, who had performed well for them. The Bears went with Williams, sending Fields to Pittsburgh, and now he's with the New York Jets.
Unfortunately, Fields suffered an injury during Thursday morning's practice and limped off the practice field before being carted inside. It's never good when a player has to be carted away from practice but with this injury being a non-contact one, that makes things even worse for Fields, who was going to be the starting quarterback for the Jets in 2025.
