LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears head coach John Fox said last week’s decision to release veteran defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff was in the team's best interest.
“Like everything, you evaluate. Every decision we make is what we feel is in the best interest of the football team," Fox said on Monday.
Fox did not shed light on what specifically happened last Wednesday when local police were called to help escort Ratliff off the team’s property.
