Jay Cutler announced Friday that he has been hired as a color analyst by FOX Sports. But the former Bears quarterback left the door open to return to the playing field.
Cutler, who turned 34 last Saturday, was released by the Bears on March 9. He reportedly will work in a three-man booth with FOX.
Cutler said in a statement "I don't know if retirement is the right word; I don't feel that anyone ever really retires from the NFL. You are either forced to leave, or you lose the desire to do what's required to keep going.
