All the issues that have plagued the Chicago Bears' defense over the course of the season came crashing together as the team lost to the Detroit Lions on a last-second field goal, 19-16, in Week 18.
Despite having an interception in the game caught by Kevin Byard, the Bears' defense allowed 433 yards, with the Lions holding on to the ball for over 35 minutes. The secondary, in particular, struggled, allowing 311 yards in the loss.
After the game, a member of that same secondary, Bears safety Jaquan Brisker, was asked by reporters about the defensive performance.
