In six days, Mitch Trubisky will make his NFL debut. As someone who is not supposed to play in the regular season, his preseason performance will give us the best indication of what Ryan Pace and the Bears have.
And frankly, fans will (and probably should) care more about Trubisky’s performance Thursday night vs. Denver than Mike Glennon’s. They want to see what the rookie can do. We’ll continue to learn more about Glennon, but the No. 2 pick’s snaps are limited.
Mark Sanchez has been there before. He has been the top-10 pick, future of the franchise, making throws in his first preseason game.
