LAS VEGAS — The Bears’ offense has been a disaster so far, and they trail the Raiders 14-9 at halftime at Allegiant Stadium.
They’ve been kept alive by timely defensive plays, most notably a pair of interceptions by safety Kevin Byard.
The Bears gained just 44 yards on their first 20 snaps, and Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby has been in their backfield all game. He has an interception off a pass he tipped at the line and two tackles for loss.
With Crosby and the Raiders dominating the line of scrimmage, the Bears aren’t getting much done passing or running.
