SANTA CLARA, Calif. — At the end of a wild first half Sunday at Levi’s Stadium, the Bears trail the 49ers 28-21
The Bears opened the game with linebacker T.J. Edwards’ 34-yard interception return for a touchdown off a Brock Purdy pass that was broken up by Jaylon Johnson, but quickly fell behind 14-7 as Purdy bounced back with a pair of touchdown drives.
The teams traded touchdowns for a while after that.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has completed 6 of 12 passes for 108 yards with long touchdown passes to rookies Luther Burden and Colston Loveland.
