Family Fest a glimpse of the best-case outlook for Mike Glennon, Bears' offense

If the Bears can dream about the best possible scenario for their new quarterback and re-tooled offense, it probably looked a little something like what Mike Glennon did Saturday at Soldier Field.

Glennon was efficient during the scrimmage portion of practice, completing all five passes he attempted, and spread the ball to four different targets: Dion Sims, Kevin White, Cameron Meredith and Tarik Cohen. He found Sims for a 15-yard touchdown, and his 18-yard completion to Meredith came on third-and-long.

“You can see how we’re starting to jell a little bit and start to form together,” wide receiver Victor Cruz, who later in the afternoon reeled in a long touchdown from Mark Sanchez, said.
