The Chicago Bears entered their matchup with the New Orleans Saints with a few things going in a very, very good direction. Of course, there was none bigger than their 3-game winning streak. And, not only did the Bears extend that streak to four games with a win over New Orleans, but defensive coordinator Dennis Allen got himself a little sweet revenge.
Allen had spent the previous decade with New Orleans and most recently had gone from being the defensive coordinator to their head coach. After being fired, though, he came to Chicago where he took on Ben Johnson's defense.
