When the Chicago Bears retooled the interior of the offensive line during the offseason, and subsequently had a training camp battle for the starting job at left tackle, right tackle Darnell Wright largely fell below the radar beyond the general hope he'd become more consistent and take another step in his third season.
Wright entered Week 10 as Pro Football Focus' sixth-highest graded offensive tackle (82.0 overall grade) with the second-best run blocking grade at the position (87.3). As a pass blocker, he allowed just one sack and six pressures through his first seven games (he missed Week 4 due to injury).
