Before the season started, there were some Chicago Bears fans who questioned the team's move to select tight end Colston Loveland in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. Furthermore, a common worry became whether or not this meant the end for Cole Kmet.
Anyone who watched a Ben Johnson offense, though, would tell you not to worry about Kmet. He's a talented player whom the Bears had already rewarded with an extension. The idea that Johnson couldn't use Kmet and Loveland was silly.
And, in the second quarter of the Bears' Week 3 showdown with the Dallas Cowboys, a whole lot of these questions finally lost some steam.
