KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Bears are off to a shaky start in their preseason finale against the Chiefs and trail 20-10 at haltime
Caleb Williams and the first-team offense went three-and-out in a sequence that included Williams and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus fumbling a handoff and a false start by rookie tight end Colston Loveland.
On second-and-19, Williams got chased out of the pocket by Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis and threw the ball away. He managed a 14-yard completion to DJ Moore on third down, and the Bears punted.
