This week, the Chicago Bears started their training camp at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL, and things are looking good so far. As we all know, the biggest story entering camp was the Bears’ kicking situation. At one point, Chicago had numerous kickers trying out at Halas Hall, only to shrink their number of kickers down to two: Elliott Fry and Eddie Pineiro.
During Saturday’s practice, it was Fry who was the star of the day. The University of South Carolina product wowed the Bears fans who were in attendance by connecting on nine out of 10 field goals.
