According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Chicago Bears are signing outside linebacker Kasim Edebali who played for four different teams last year. He was originally an undrafted free agent of the New Orleans Saints in 2014. Current Bears’ general manager Ryan Pace was working in New Orleans when they signed Ededali out of Boston College.
He never missed a game during his first three years with the Saints, and he picked up eight sacks during that time playing defensive end. The first two sacks of his career came as a rookie and they came against the Green Bay Packers.
