The Chicago Bears added Nick Foles this offseason with a fourth-round compensatory draft pick that was a glorified early fifth-round selection. Before I get too far into this article, I will add that I am a Mitchell Trubiksy supporter and do believe that it would be in the best interest of the Chicago Bears for Trubisky to win the quarterback competition.
Without knowing if Trubisky is the future of the Chicago Bears, the offense might not be tailored for him to bring out his best every season. Matt Nagy has built a west coast RPO offense that could thrive on short passes and shot plays.
