The Chicago Bears will continue to look to add depth to their defensive backfield after newly acquired K’Waun Williams failed his physical. The Bears claimed Williams off waivers from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday but word of the failed physical came just 24 hours later.
The Bears have serious injury issues at the cornerback position. Tracy Porter has a concussion, Bryce Callahan has an injured hamstring and Kyle Fuller is still recovering from knee surgery. The Bears were looking to add depth and thought they were landing a quality corner in Williams.
Williams was at odds with the Browns, ironically over his injury.
