Even though the Chicago Bears lost the season opener to the Green Bay Packers, there were some positives that could be gleaned from Chicago's performance. The biggest of which was the preparedness of the team under veteran head coach John Fox, offensive coordinator Adam Gase and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.
The Bears appeared to have a plan on both sides of the ball, and the team seems to have taken on some of the personality of John Fox.
Last year under the Marc Trestman, Aaron Kromer and Mel Tucker regime, the Bears lacked discipline, they seemed to be outcoached on a weekly basis, they couldn't put four quarters of football together and there were trust issues.
